Amanda is back from AZ and I survived! She came home Tuesday night a little after midnight, but that didn't stop Gabriel from waking up with the birds....Amanda slept in, Nana rose with the birds and Gabriel. I love spending my mornings with him, he really is the sweetest little thing -I may be a bit prejudice but he really is a cutie :-)

Flying Solo

Amanda left for AZ today....she'll be back on the 21st and Paul and I are flying solo!!!! My goodness Gabriel sure does fill up my day and he is full of energy but I love every minute of it!!! It will be good practice for when she leaves him with us for 3 weeks this summer. This should be fun.......wish me luck :-)

My Birthday

So, it was my birthday yesterday and I had a great day. Amanda, Gabriel, my niece Shelby, my friend Karen and I all went to lunch. Then my niece watched Gabriel while Amanda and Karen and I went to get tattoos (Karen didn't, she already has one she came for support). Everyone thought I was crazy and would never do it. I've always wanted a tattoo but I could never figure out what I wanted to get and I really had no reason to get one. I decided when Gabriel was born that I was going to get the angel Gabriel but I couldn't find one that I liked so I just got the wings. I thought it was really going to hurt but it just felt like a bunch of little bee stings. Not to bad and it was over in about 20 minutes. After that I took my niece shopping for her birthday and then came home to a delicious supper that Paul made. A very happy birthday to me :-)

Easter Morning

Gabriel had his first egg hunt. I decided not to fill the eggs this time :-( but he had fun finding them. He was pretty reluctant to give them up once he did find them but he caught on after a while.

Hitchen A Ride

We took the bike out for our first ride this weekend. When we got back we had a little photo shoot with my favorite subject....Gabriel :-) One day the bike will be his, hopefully these pictures are still around when that day comes.

Dust Bunny

Gabriel is so funny, he tries to help with everything. I love when he "helps" me empty the clothes basket :-)

O U C H !!!!!!!!

Poor little guy :-( Gabriel was crawling yesterday and did a face plant.........ouch! At first he didn't really cry, then I came in and said "oh, what happened pumpkin?" and he started to cry. It didn't last long and he was ok but I had to share that pathetic little face with everyone.

Still Celebrating

We're still celebrating. We had a joint party this weekend for Paul and Gabriel and everyone had a great time playing with Gabriel and playing dress-up. You never know what's going to happen here!

Celebrating 50 Years

We went to Newport with our friends Joe and Michael to celebrate Paul's birthday - Karen and Enrique were in FL visiting her parents....we missed them :-( We had a great time even though the Six Pack was minus 2. The resort we stayed in had a beautiful pool (that we spent alot of time in) and we went out to eat at a very nice little restaurant called Pronto (thanks for the recommendation Joanne) Great food, great wine and a great time with wonderful friends!

Happy First Birthday Gabriel!!! (3/17) It's hard to believe 1 year has already passed. We Love You!!

Gabriel's First Haircut

Gabriel had his first hair cut yesterday. He had all his little curls cut off :-( "Uncle Joey" did a great job and Gabriel entertained the whole salon. I'm so happy that Paul and I are able to share all his "firsts" with Amanda. We saw those first little teeth pop through and now his top teeth are coming in too. He's getting so big, he seems to change every day. We sure do love having him here - and Amanda too :-)
