A Different Cape

We went to the Cape -again- with our friends Karen and Enrique and a storm blew in. We don't normally get that much snow on the Cape so we didn't think much of it. We rode down to Nauset Beach and took a picture down the beach where we had driven out so many times, it was crazy! It had begun to snow and the wind was blowing 65 mph. Yes, I'm crazy and our friend Enrique is just as crazy because he went out and built a fire. It certainly was a different scene from the beautiful summer days we spend in that backyard.

Cranberry Harvest

I've been going to the Cape my whole life and I've never seen cranberries being harvested. It was pretty cool and those berries were such a beautiful color!

Back To The Cape

We spent quite a bit of time at the Cape this past year with our friends the Remolina's. It was Enriques birthday and I was determined to do something different so we had a cocktail party on the point at Nauset Beach. Even though it was October - and a little chilly - it was beautiful out there. The sea gulls were happy to see us too and joined in on our little party, and we had the most beautiful sunset for our entertainment.

Cancun

In September we went to Cancun with my sister and brother-in-law. We stayed at the Royal Solaris Resort right on the beach. It was beautiful! We did so many cool things and the weather was perfect. The first night we were there Paul saw something moving on the beach, (he thought it was a bug) it was a tiny sea turtle trying to make it's way into the ocean. It was so cool holding that tiny turtle. We went to the biggest flea market I've ever seen and my sister stocked up on jewelry. We all went to Xel Ha which is like a tropical amusement park. Paul and I swam with the dolphins which had to be the most unbelieveable thing I've ever done. They are such gentle and smart creatures. It was amazing!!! We swam in a beautiful lagoon for a while and then headed off to Tulum. It's remarkable that those ruins are still standing and what a view. It was like looking off the end of the earth. Paul and I also went to Cozumel and went snorkeling off the coral reef. I had never been snorkeling before and I loved it. Paul thought the boat was going to fall apart before we got back to land, I really didn't notice at the time I was having to much fun. We spent the rest of the day shopping for treasures around Cozumel. Paul and I also had our first masages at the resort...... it was heavenly! It was a great vacation, I'm ready to go back!!

Nauset Beach

We don't go to the beach like normal people anymore. We now drive out in the Durango. It's so nice out at the point. We were the only ones out there this afternoon. It's like having your own private beach. We had a great time with our good friends the Remolina's.

Out For A Ride

When the weather cooperates we are on the road. Here we are at the Quabin Reservoir with some friends that we ride with. This was a small town that was flooded to build the reservoir. What a beautiful area. It's amazing all the beautiful places we see when we head out for the day on Paulies Harley.

The pictures taken on Rt. 2 in the Berkshires don't do that part of the route any justice. The area we stopped at is called Deadman's curve. You can't imagine the hairpin turn we just came around!

Relaxing At The Cape

The day after the wedding we took everyone to Cape Cod for a few days. Tucker and McKinlee are such good kids and so much fun to be with. We went to the beach every day and had some great campfires at night. Tucker is a master at roasting marshmellows for s'mores. We took a trip to P-town so everyone could enjoy the sights and hit the Army Navy store.

The Big Day

Rayna and Clint got married on June 23, 2007. It was a perfect day and a beautiful wedding. They had their reception at the Old Casino in Roger Williams Park. It's a beautiful old building and the grounds around it were perfect for taking pictures. Everyone had a great time and it was so nice having Amanda and Chris home for the wedding. Yates and Crystal Wright(friends from Utah) and their kids were also here for the wedding. Their son Tucker was the ring bearer. He did a great job!

Look at that crazy hair on me!!!
