"Big Bird"

Rayna did an after school program about the rain forest and our friend Enrique brought Lola in for one of the classes, so we had a third guest for dinner that night. Gabriel loved her! At first he didn't know what to make of her but then he couldn't get enough of her. The shocked face he's making was his reaction to Lola letting out a screech, it was pretty funny.

29 Years!

Paul and I spent the day in Boston for our 29th anniversary. It's amazing how fast time goes by - that's a sure sign I'm getting old :-) We went to the farmers market and picked up some bargains and then went to the northend. We love this little market there, it's just like being in Italy. That cheese hanging from the ceiling weighs 250 lbs. and is worth $5,000.00!!! I also found a couple of interesting signs, the "corner" store being my favorite. We had a nice dinner and then headed home. I had a great day with my Paulie :-)

Happy Mother's Day

All the Murray moms. Yup, that's the news we got the other day, Rayna is pregnant! She's due December 1st (or there abouts) and feels ok, just a little tired. Of course Rayna wants a girl and Clint wants a boy, I guess we'll know soon enough because they are going to find out what they're having....the name they choose is going to be a surprise. I'm pretty excited that this grand baby will only be around the corner from me :-)

Tour RI

We went on the Tour RI tours this weekend. This one was called Spooky RI. We went to the grave of the only "vampire" in RI (anyone who died from influenza was considered a vampire) and the author of the book Vampires of New England told us all kinds of stories and "facts". We also went to the Sprague mansion. He was a Gov. in RI back in the 1800's. The wine cellar is suppose to be haunted by the old butler. We went to the Warwick town hall, it was in the show Ghost Hunters. They had pictures of someone in the town council meeting room that they think was the deputy....that was pretty creepy. They also recorded a woman crying in the basement where the jail cells use to be. We ended our tour on the East side of Providence where Edgar Allen Poe once lived...lots of cool stories about that. Our guide was the author of the book Haunted Providence. And at the end of the day a took this picture of the state house...spring is so pretty around here.

Still Celebrating

We all went to the Berkshires for a late birthday celebration. The weekend was great, the weather was beautiful and as usual we had a great time. We all spent a little to long in the sun (it was in the 90's each day). The resort wasn't busy so we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. We even had a picnic in the pool....totally against the rules that were posted everywhere :-)

Look at that crazy hair on me!!!
