Our friends had a yard sale this past weekend. I of course couldn't bear to part with any of my treasures (I guess that's the old yankee in me) but we went to help and to see if there were any "treasures" we couldn't do without. Paul said he was trying out my next vehicle....very funny Paulie!!! I think I found the best treasure, the 80's headpiece...how do you like it? Despite the cold weather it was fun and of course we came home with a truck full!

New Roof
The roof is finished and it came out great....good job Clint & Martin! Now it's time for Paul to get out his paint brush.
Weekend at the Beach
Friends of ours invited us to their log cabin beach house in Narragansett for the weekend. It is right across the street from the beach and sits on 13 acres (which if pretty crazy for Narragansett). The weather was beautiful for walking on the beach, sad to say not for swimming though. Being the junk collectors we are we had to go to the flea market and everyone of course found something they couldn't live without.
New England Color
The colors are so beautiful around here now. It seemed like it happened over night. I thought I'd share some of the fall colors with everyone.

Garage Repair
It's nice having a carpenter in the family :-) For years Paul has wanted to change the roof on the garage in the front of the house (pretty nice that Rayna married such a handy guy) so Bearss Construction is building us a new roof. This was the first day of demolition....what a mess!! One good thing about doing this, we got rid of a lot of those things that Paul just had to save. More pics to come as we progress.

Welcome To Mrs. Bearss' Class
Rayna has her own classroom! She was hired in Smithfield, at her favorite school, as a permanent sub for the third grade. She's very happy that she's finally a "real" teacher and excited to have her own class. I helped her a little with setting things up the way she wanted them....just like the old days when I use to go to school with her to help her teachers. Good job Rayna - I mean Mrs. Bearss :-)
