Another Holiday Gathering

I thought our celebrating was over but I forgot about our Christmas visit to see my aunt in CT. It's always great to get everyone together. We took a nice picture of the four generations, my aunt Edith (who is my fathers sister)the first generation, me, the second generation, Amanda the third and Gabriel the forth. He entertained everyone and was such a good little boy. Uncle Clint did an excellent job taking care of his little buddy doesn't he look cute with his penguin backpack :-) I gave Gabriel a piece of bread at the restaurant, it took him a while before he would pick it up then he wouldn't let it go. If you can't tell....I sure am having fun with my little pumpkin :-)

3 1/2 Amigos

We got together for dinner the other night....we can always count on Enrique and his hat collection for some entertainment. Gabriel loves his new "uncles" and seems to fit right into the new 7 1/2 pack (no more 6 pack for a while)

One More "Christmas"

Well, we had another "Christmas" party for Gabriel and Amanda. What started out as 5 or 6 people turned into 18, it was fun though and everyone enjoyed Gabriel trying to open his presents. I think our Christmas celebrations are finally over.

Gabriel loves being outside (just like Amanda did) and he totally enjoyed his first snow storm. We sure are having fun!

Gabriel's First Christmas

Gabriel's first Christmas and it was with Nana and Papa Murray......YIPEEEEEE!!!!!! He did pretty well opening his presents (with a little help from 'Manda) and even enjoyed some of them more than the paper it was wrapped in :-)

They're Here!

Amanda and Gabriel made it here 3 hours later than expected. She missed her 6:30 a.m. flight out of Tucson and caught the next flight leaving which took them to Vegas. They sat there for about 2 hours then headed for Chicago just ahead of the ice storm we had last night. They got into Providence at 6:30 p.m. instead of 3:00 not that bad but a pretty long day. Gabriel is quite the little traveler, she said he didn't fuss a bit and of course all the flight attendants loved him :-) It was great waking up with Gabriel and Amanda here safe and sound this morning.
Uncle Clint came by to read the paper with him, don't they look cute. He also found a new favorite toy...I guess he's going to be Nana's helper in the kitchen :-) This is going to be fun!!!

Here He Comes!

Gabriel is packing his bag for his big trip to Nana and Papa's tomorrow. Looks like he remembered to pack his diapers :-)

Three More Days!!!!

Just 3 more days and my little muffin man will be here - oh and Amanda too :-) I've been having so much fun getting Rayna's old room ready for him. Papa and Uncle Clint are doing such a great job putting his crib together (not much screaming at all) I thought I would share it with everyone.

Celetrating The 1st

The six pack got together and stayed in Newport to celebrate the new year (not new years eve we had a bad storm and didn't go anywhere) it's always fun getting together with friends and planning the events for the year to come :-)

Happy New Year!

Clint and his buddy Martin did the Polar Plunge again this year. I think this was the worst one yet. It was 5 degrees with a wind chill factor of 10 to 12 below zero! They had to run through ice burgs to get into the water. Clint says that this is the last year he's going to do the plunge but I'm sure when the time comes next year he'll be right there again with all the other crazies :-)
