Weekend In Newport
Paul and I spent the weekend in Newport. Joe and Michael came down for supper and we all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Paul decided he had to have a splashing contest with some kids...guess who won :-) We've both lived in RI our entire lives and have never been on the Cliff Walk sooo, we walked the Cliff Walk. It's a path that takes you in front of all the mansions.

Time To Catch Up
We were on vacation for three weeks and it was great! We started out in Vegas, stayed there for a couple of days then drove to Hurricane to visit Yates and Crystal (thanks again for such a great visit guys). Drove back to Vegas and flew to Tucson to stay with Amanda and Chris for a couple of weeks. The weather was perfect, since all it did was rain back home, and we had a great time traveling around. All good things must come to an end but we sure did enjoy ourselves, two pages worth of posts......yikes! :-)
Yates took us to the rainbow caves that he use to go to when he was a kid. There was still a little snow that we had to hike through but we had alot of laughs when Paul and I sunk up to our hips. The caves are made of sandstone so we collected samples of all the different colors and later that night did some arts and crafts with the kids. It was a great adventure and it sure was nice spending time with my old buddy Yates :-)
We had such a nice day in Sabino Canyon the last time we were out here we decided to pack a lunch and spend the afternoon there. Because of the melting snow and the rain they had before we got here the short way to the falls was flooded so we had to go the long way around but it was worth it. The falls were beautiful.
We babysat for Gabriel so Amanda and Chris could do something special for their anniversary. They went back to the resort where we had their wedding reception, had a nice dinner, spent the night and had a couples masage. We took Gabriel to Saguaro National Park for some "rock climbing" and a nice picnic. He is just the cutest thing :-)
The Biosphere 2 was created to better understand our natural environment and to see if these living conditions could be duplicated on another planet. It is 3 acres and is self contained, six people lived in it for 2 years but it failed. I kept looking around for Paulie Shaw, did anyone see that crazy movie BioDome :-)
