The Beach House

We finally got possession of the house in Narragansett and the look on Rayna's face tells the whole story.....it was a mess!!!! We rented a 30 yard dumpster and filled it in 2 days!.....rugs, furniture, mattresses even the toilets! Thank goodness for our great friends Joe and Michael (and of course Amanda and Gabriel and sometimes Rayna and Clint) We spent the whole summer cleaning and painting. The sun porch was the cleanest room in the house so we turned it into the master suite and all slept out there, we had a big pj party all summer.

4th of July

And finally to the beginning of summer.....another great trip to the Cape. We celebrated with our great friends Joe, Michael and Joyce and then the kids came. We had such a great time with them at the beach...Gabriel and Isaac both love the water and playing in the sand, but doesn't every kid :-)

Where Did The Summer Go!!!

I had a few quiet minutes tonight so I thought I'd check the blogs.....I haven't been on here since June!!!!!!!!!!!! So much has happened this summer, we've been working on the house in Narragansett that Paul finally got back from his stepmother, that has taken up most of the summer. Big news with Amanda and Gabriel.....Chris decided he needed to go back to Florida, the loser couldn't take the responsibility of having a family so he ran home to mommy and daddy. Amanda is doing OK, she was blown over with his decision but decided that it was in their best interest to stay here and let the waste of space go home. I tried to stay out of the whole situation but I have to say I was glad to see him leave. Things have really been crazy, I have tons of pictures and lots of stories that I'll have to catch up on. I hope everyone had a great summer!
