A Day At The Beach

Great Vacation

I've been back from the Cape for almost a week and I haven't shared any pics yet....where does the time go! We had a great time, Gabriel loved the beach! It was so cool taking him to the beaches where I spent my childhood with my parents and grandparents and where his mom and aunt enjoyed so many great summer days. I will get moving on the pics....what a slacker!!!

Time Flies

Amanda left for AZ this morning and Chris is suppose to be back on the 4th of July. I can't believe how fast the past 6 months went by. We'll have Gabriel for about 3 1/2 weeks then Amanda and Chris will come back probably until the middle of August then they'll all go back to AZ :-( I don't know what I'm going to do then but until that happens I can't wait to take Gabriel to the Cape next week, get ready for a steady stream of pictures!

They Will Survive

Our friends Karen and Enrique have been involved with an organization called Look Good Feel Good - they do hair and makeup for people going through chemo. This past weekend they were involved in a 24 hour event called Laps for Life. People "camped out" in the civic center in Providence and walked or ran laps around the center. Enrique brought Lola and everyone loved taking pictures with her - Karen and Janet (she works with Karen) gave haircuts and donated all the proceeds. Joe and his sister Joanne were there giving everyone samples of Mona-Vie (a delicious juice made of acai berries and other fruits) and I, of course, was there with my camera . As you can see Enrique is a Survivor and we're all so grateful that he has gotten a clean bill of health and back to normal - or as close to it as he'll ever get :-) Great job guys!

Off To Work We Go!

Gabriel loves Papa's truck and he finally got a ride in it. Maybe Paul
is starting him a little young but he certainly couldn't have a better helper!

Federal Hill Stroll

We all went on the stroll again this year, with a few extra people. It was a little cool (last year it was in the 90's) but we all had a great time. It's like trick or treat for adults, you go into all these great restaurants on Atwells Ave. and they give you a sample of their food. Once again, lots of fun with good people.

Our Little Helper

Gabriel loves to be outside and he's a great helper. I found a few peep toads in the garden, he thought they were great. He poked them with that little finger and was amazed when they hoped away.

Another Move

Here we go again.......Rayna and Clint moved again for the third time. Hopefully they will stay here for a while. It's a house that belongs to a friend of ours. They have so much room now they need to buy more furniture!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had another fun weekend at the Cape with great friends! Michael became the watermellon mojito king....they were delicious! The summer has officially started.
